Okay, this is some kind of sick joke. Are these things even real? I mean--what they're showing, because...
[Agitated, she runs a hand through her hair.]
Because I can't picture Euphie slapping anyone if I tried.
[That isn't anywhere near the worst of it, though. Not even close.]
Tyr, I'm coming over. Eagle, I wanna talk to you.
And don't eat these things! They're not even that good, anyway. I'll be smashing any more I find.
[ooc: Rita ate four all in one go. Whoops! Euphie's slap, Eagle's wish, and Tyr's dad and desertion.]

I don't think they would change that much... The true runes probably don't, anyway...
no subject
[She can't help but wonder, want to understand, despite the fact she would never go as far as to even consider investigating it.]

[And then she picks up on the next part-] Yeah, so...That just sounds like they're dormant, right?
no subject
As for the Beast Rune...It's just a destructive, blood-hungry rune. And even though it's not attached to anyone, people still use it.
[ Want fair information about true runes? Don't as Tyr. ]
no subject
[It's seems clear enough to her! She just nods.]
Like a weapon, then...

As for when they're sealed...From what I heard, they sort of do go out of control when they're unsealed...
no subject
[And she nods about them going out of control. It does sort of sound like they go on rampages, depending on whatever ability they have.]
no subject
[ Soul Eater doesn't need a burst of unsealed power to rampage... ]
no subject
All it needs is some delicious close souls...]
no subject
[ Yes... It gets hungry! ]
no subject
[It has cravings!]
no subject
[ So he'll just stand up now! ]
[ It gets the munchies! ]
no subject
...Don't forget that I want to hear you sing, too.
[And it can't help but keep snacking!]
no subject
I already told you I'm not that good. You'll have to go first. [ He actually had Connell's music set aside in one of the drawers of the (empty) entertainment center. There's actually just a bowl of fruit where a TV would be.
Also sand. It crunches when he opens the drawer and she could probably hear it sliding off the pages when he pulls them out. ]
[ It can't! It's really a bad habit. ]
no subject
Are you hoping for some pointers?
[Rita's never paid much attention to TVs in all the time she's been here. A bowl of fruit seems pretty handy to her.
Sand...is a different story. Just hearing it causes Rita to sigh.]
You know, I'm pretty used to sand. I mean, we live on the beach; that stuff gets everywhere. But this is getting pretty ridiculous.
[Huff, it is! Soul Eater needs to learn not to indulge so much.]
no subject
[ That's what Tyr thought! Even if it's mostly sand and two apples right now. Which might also turn to sand if he touched them.
He shakes out the pages into the drawer before returning to sit beside her. ]
I don't know how you can stand it on the beach... I've never seen this much sand even at your place, though. It's weird.
[ Really! It always takes the first good meal it sees, too. ]
no subject
[It's a horrible way to see good fruit go...And if Rita thought cooking was a pain before, she's been completely avoiding it lately.
She turns to him as he sits and peeks over at the music.]
You get used to it. This is going way overboard, though.
[No sense of restraint!]
no subject
[ Tyr wouldn't blame her. Tyr doesn't know how everything manages to get sand in it.
It's only a few pages - he only brought out the ones meant to be sung - and he passes them over to her. ]
It really is... I'm just glad these sheets didn't turn into sand.
[ None at all! It just eats and eats... ]
no subject
[She says it lightly, admittedly in a better mood now, and takes the music.]
If they did, I would've had something to say to those deities. Now let's see...
[She takes a glance, flipping through a couple sheets and picking one at random.]
So...I should try one.
[A huge glutton! :<]
no subject
It probably wouldn't be hard to make a trade for new ones... But these are Connell's; I wouldn't want to lose them.
[ He watches her go through them and stops at one. ]
I tried this one before.
[ I know! Not leaving any souls for its bearers. ]
no subject
Yeah...You should keep these ones.
[She looks over the one he points out, curious as she reads the music.]
Hmm...This one looks pretty good. You wanna compare?
[Huff, really. It's so greedy!]
no subject
He nods. ] He might come back sometime...
Yeah--after you. [ Not even bothering to hide how eager he is to hear her. ]
[ More than any other rune! This is how it got nicknamed 'soul eater'! ]
